Our New York story began in a third-floor Chelsea walkup. Six months later, New York Magazine named me “Best Blonde in New York.”
Three spaces later, each shaped by Craig’s eye for interiors, we found ourselves drawn to something smaller and more personal.
In 2019, we moved into our West Side townhouse beside the High Line, with the salon downstairs and our home above.
Craig designs the surroundings; I look after your hair.
Every appointment is with me, in a space that feels like home because it is.

Australian-born Gregorio Ruggeri brings more than 35 years of experience to Salon Ruggeri, his private hair salon in Chelsea, New York.
His approach starts with a conversation: what you like, what isn’t working, and how much time you actually want to spend on your hair. From the cut to the placement of color, the aim is to make it feel like you, and keep it looking good between appointments.
His work has been featured in Harper’s Bazaar, W, Vanity Fair and Beauty Inc. Salon Ruggeri has also been recognized in “Best Of” lists by Allure and Time Out New York.
A Certified Trichologist, Gregorio brings an understanding of hair and scalp health to every appointment.
